This blog post is coming to you from Tewkesbury, England. If there's anything this Florida girl has learned in her 8 days away it's that I really am spoiled with warm weather. It is cold here

But aside from some cold weather, it is beautiful. The fields are still green but the trees are turning orange and red. Fluffy sheep are grazing everywhere you look. It's easy to see why people could manage living in the English countryside.

But on to the main reason you're here: these paleo almond butter and turmeric chocolate chip cookies. A mouthful, both in name and in taste. Chocolate chip cookies are a favorite of mine so I'm always looking to make variations of the original. Pretty much every Sunday I'm home I'm looking to get into the kitchen to bake up some version to tame my sweet tooth craving.

The turmeric flavor is definitely there, but subtle enough with the pairing of the almond butter that you still know you're eating a delicious sweet treat. These cookies are also more like the consistency of a cake cookie, making them super soft and perfect for dunking in coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
